Established in 1974, the College of Nuclear Science (CNS) at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan features its long history and prestigious reputation in the fields of nuclear science and technology. With its inherently characteristics, the CNS integrates multidisciplinary science and technology into education and research, focusing on the development of next generation nuclear energy, low carbon energy system, nano- and micro-technology, biomedical engineering, and environmental molecular science. With such various developments, the CNS has made significant contribution not only to beam technology in industry and pre-clinical diagnostic and therapy, but also to the development of new materials and devices for energy application and sustainable environment.

To face the new challenges in energy demand and health care, The CNS has launched two international Ph.D. programs, International Ph.D. Program on Low Carbon Energy and International Ph.D. Program in Biomedical Engineering. These two programs are designed to equip students with superb abilities in problem analysis and solving of regional and global issues; independent innovative thinking, planning and project execution; decision-making, interdisciplinary coordination, and international communication. In addition, these programs provide the unique opportunity of joining international projects collaborate with different countries.

The CNS Doctoral Programs are well prepared to train the next-generation leaders in the study, communications, and management of critical issues in low carbon energy and biomedical engineering. Please come join us!
